I have experience in working with clients that are facing grief, chronic illness, depression, anxiety, trauma, suicide bereavement and disordered eating. In addition, I have experience in working with college students as they take next steps in professional and personal areas.
My foundation to counseling is a focus on establishing a relationship that is based on warmth, genuineness and caring. In addition, I believe supporting individuals to do this work a privilege.

Individual Therapy
Individual therapy is a joint process between a therapist and a person in therapy. During therapy, you learn about your specific issues and how your thoughts, emotions and behaviors affect your moods. Talk therapy helps you learn how to take control of your life and respond to challenging situations with healthy coping skills.
Speaking Engagements
Kris is honored to share her expertise and provide an interactive opportunity through public speaking that inspires individuals to create meaningful change in their lives.

“Kris Flora is an amazing speaker for both large and small groups. She is vibrant, personal without being too personal, knowledgeable, and evidence-based. Kris’s experience in mental health and with trauma informed care provides meaningful content for today’s healthcare work environments. Kris prepares each presentation for the specific audience to which she is speaking. She is open and adapts to the needs and the dynamics of the group. In short, I highly recommend her!“
